Water Gardens South Tower, London - Project Details
Water Gardens South Tower, London
Continuing our successful relationship with the Church Commissioners of England on the Hyde Park Estate, we secured and completed this common parts refurbishment contract to the twenty-two storey tower block in 2013.
The Water Gardens South Tower was our third, common parts, tower refurbishment project for the Church Commissioners and forms part of their rolling programme of enhancing the Hyde Park Estate. Since our first project in 2009 we have successfully undertaken eight contracts for the Church Commissioners varying in size from £280,000 to £6.80 million.
The Water Gardens South Tower common parts refurbishment was undertaken in a fully occupied tower block with the minimum of disruption to the residents. Lift and entrance lobbies were completely refurbished and upgraded to meet current Building Regulations. The work included replacement of lobby fire doors, new ceilings, preparation and decoration of all walls together with new flooring. Electrical lighting, security and fire alarms were all replaced and/or upgraded along with new radiators.
The reception area was completely remodelled with new ceramic tiling, feature reflective panelling and a new reception desk.
