Refurbishment of a derelict vacant property to create a high quality, two bedroom, mews house. The works included the renewal of the external windows and doors and extensive repairs to the roof covering and introduction of automated velux windows and conservation rooflights.
The internal remodelling provided for a bespoke staircase framed in stainless steel and glass with open treads clad in oak, the installation of a Poggenpohl kitchen and extensive timber flooring and stonework finishes throughout.
A heat recovery unit was installed to aid internal ambient comfort whilst sunpipes were introduced at roof level to create internal light to the rear of the ground floor. The privacy of the ground floor bedroom to the mews was maintained using a panel of switchable LCD glass.
